A root treatment, also known as endodontic treatment or devitalization, is the removal of an infected, injured or dead tooth pulp from a tooth.

Root canal treatment is not painful and can save a tooth that might otherwise have to be removed completely.

This treatment consists of looking for, then disinfecting and sealing, the canals located in the roots of the teeth.

The technique applied for the endodontic treatment allows decontamination and sealing necessary for the durability of treated teeth.
